Hi there forumers! nice to have you active and around :sparkles:

there will be a new system regarding points :magicoin: ,
points will be used to purchase customization features for chat, titles, badges, and more!

there will be a one-on-one pm with either this pippet staff account, kat_mac, or hat.
it will be formatted like so:

hey there, thanks for being a part of the prodigy discourse forum!
here, you can check the checkbox daily/weekly/and monthly to earn points.

what are points :magicoin:?
points are a rewards system @Kat_Mac created to enable users to purchase specific titles, and customizations to encourage activity to play the prodigy math game!

- Daily Check-in ( rewards you 3 points) :magicoin:

-Weekly Check-in (rewards you 9 points) :magicoin:

- Monthly Check-in (rewards you 15 points) :magicoin:

Other ways you can earn points:

  • through events

other methods to obtain points is TBD.

for now, just check and uncheck the boxes daily/weekly/monthly.
staff will be able to check via edits history and will tally your points.

for bonus points, you have to message staff, the amount of points out are supposed to receive, and evidence/how you were awarded bonus points.

there will be a shop coming soon, for that you will have to message staff, and they will tell you what’s in-shop and how much which is what.

I am currently working on a way to automatically track points instead of yourself- or a staff manually doing it because some of us don’t have the time for it.

A few questions

  1. What do you mean by the PM, do you mean DM or something else? Bc of it’s DM I didn’t get any.
  2. I can’t click the check boxes
  3. A shop suggestion: A favorite pet role, like that luminite and shadow drake one

Hello! I’m working on a new system to make these rewards and points into a bot that automatically counts your points, and it may be implemented here :eyes:

Also, I’m trying my best to make sure this bot is not able to be abused on here. (If it is implemented)

Update: The bot has been finished. I sent the JSON file of it to kat, and now kat is implementing the bot, with her own changes as well.

our new member, @Gale is now here!

ping him with @Gal.e magicoin (trying not to ping it ATM) to check your balance (excluding the self-warded +5 points from kat)
you can also do slash daily/weekly/monthly
and call it magicoin

points were just a substitute name!

you guys can currently try and test it out and see how it goes

there’s not gonna be a pm, there’s gonna be a bot as Kat said. It’s currently showing some bugs on this forum so :/
Btw, it will still be a pm, js the bot auto does stuffs for u
