We’ve already seen battle and texture updates, so maybe there will be another battle system or texture overhaul. From what I’ve heard, the old system was popular, but it isn’t welcoming enough to the young children that Prodigy is trying to appeal to. So I doubt Prodigy will revert to the old texture, but maybe the battle system could see some changes. Another way for an “upgrade” of the battle system is to make Harmony Island work with the new battle system, including incorporating food, potions and runes in certain areas, and then we could see the return of Harmony Island, much wanted from the veteran community.
I feel like the story of Prodigy is 1. overextended, beating the puppet master twice without rescuing any wardens (apart from Florian) and 2. stuffed full of grinding, especially for free players. Places like Dragon Isle had so much potential; if they gave more depth to the dragons’ characters, it could have been like a second Harmony Island. A story update could rejuvenate the community’s zeal for the game, especially from the older players.
The PVP Arena is also in need of improvement. Right now, all they offer is minimal amounts of gold, unlike the unique and strong armour and weapon sets they used to reward. That being said, the daily arena elemental advantages are a nice touch.
Which brings me to my final suggestion: the elements. While I know the elements were changed to balance out the game, they could be balanced out in other ways, so that the different elements would have a different playstyle. From a fighting standpoint, the 5 main elements are identical, each with one weakness and one strength, with equal health and strengths attached to their pets. My suggestion is that they could make fire strong against both earth and ice like before, but give it lower health for an aggressive playstyle, and give water more health for a reserved playstyle.
I’m interested in what ideas for change the community has.
