Alright, Crystal Caverns, 1 of 2 dungeons, and is BY FAR the biggest one. (Other one being Archives). It is split into about three “Sections”, and contains 5 bosses. Unfortunately, you can only battle four out of the five bosses, because two are interchangable. This guide will go over each section, its main mechanic, and its bosses.
Also any and all health values are at Level 100.
But first, I must go over the mechanic present in the entirety of Crystal Caverns.
Old Battle System: You do NOT heal in between battles. To heal, you have to go to a heal pad, and answer a question. This makes Crystal Caverns harder than normal prodigy.
New Battle System: You do heal in between battles!
Now, onto the main bulk of the guide, which is, the 3 sections of Crystal Caverns!
Section 1: Mountain
Mountain is decently simple, it consists of battles with various Crystal Monsters, and a single boss. It’s more of a tutorial to Crystal Caverns.
Normal Enemies
Crystal Monster Variant 1 (Shadow Type ) [590HP]
Crystal Monster Variant 2 (Shadow Type ) [610HP]
Crystal Monster Variant 3 (Shadow Type ) [630Hp]
Chests
There are 3 chests, those being 2 member chests and a regular chest. The first member chest is in the middle path where the paths split. The regular chest is to the left dead-ending path before the one that goes to the member chest. The second member chest is at the top of the area where you fight the grumpy Yeti.
There are a bunch of crates and snow piles with crates having a 50% chance of loot, and snow piles having a 33% chance of having loot.
Boss
Grumpy Yeti (Type: )
So this guy is kind of special, you don’t actually kill him. Instead you have to kill the crystals controlling him, which are shadow types. Other than that, he’s not very impressive. It’s a very easy boss, with 3 armor drops.
- Alpine Mask (Hat)
- Alpine Jacket (Outfit)
- Alpine Cleats (Boots)
Defeating the grumpy Yeti also unlocks access to Section 2, and Aspen Frost’s Shop.
Section 2: Outer Ice Cave (WIP)
The Outer Ice Cave is mediocre, with either no monsters with a bunch of minecart tracks to fix or a bunch of monsters and barely any minecart tracks to fix depending on which way you choose. There are a bunch of chests with possible loot, and two bosses but you can only fight one in one run. This is the rising action in the plot.
Mechanics
This area contains one special mechanic, which are the mine carts. Minecarts require you to repair them by answering questions. The number of questions is equal to the amount of wooden planks beside the mine cart.
Misc
This area contains two paths, the top one being battle focused (filled with crystal monsters), and the bottom one containing a TON of mine carts.
The top path leads to the fight with Winston Von Loot, while the bottom one leads to the fight with Glacias.
Normal Enemies
Crystal Monster Variant 1 (Shadow Type ) [590HP]
Crystal Monster Variant 2 (Shadow Type ) [610HP]
Crystal Monster Variant 3 (Shadow Type ) [630Hp]
Chests
Bottom Path
- 1 Member Chest behind Glacias, Contents: ???
- 1 Normal Chest behind Glacias, Contents: Plump Snup.
Top Path
- 1 Member Chest behind Winston Von Loot, Contents: ???
Bosses
Top Path
Winston Von Loot (Unskipable, if you go top path)
To beat the Winston Von Loot fight, you must defeat three things
- Winston Von Loot (Shadow Type

) [730 HP]
- Batterbot (Plant Type

Rewards
- Swift Hood (Hat)
- Swift Robe (Outfit)
- Swift Scepter (Wand)
Section 3: Deep Ice Cave (WIP)
what, did you expect something?
Just gonna post this, since I think I put enough in for it to be postable. I’ll work on it more overtime. If I missed any information, please, do tell.
