The Entity Arises

Chapter 1

Aster Summertamer was very excited. She had finally achieved Level 100 and was now in an intense battle with the Puppet Master. The fight had dragged on for many turns, but now the Puppet Master had only 257 HP left. Aster prepared her  All-Out Attack, but before she cast the spell, the Puppet Master looked up at her.

“Please, don’t kill me,” the Puppet Master pleaded. “If you do, terrible things will happen.”

Aster didn’t believe it at all. “If I don’t kill you, terrible things will happen.” She raised her wand and cast the spell.

The Puppet Master started to fade out. Surprised, he said, “No! You fool! You have no idea what you’ve done! You’ve unleashed -”
Suddenly, he disappeared completely, leaving behind only his robes and wand.

Aster picked up the robes and wand and stashed them in her inventory. Before she left, however, a mysterious entity appeared. Its appearance was something that Aster couldn’t quite explain.

Hello, Aster. Thank you for releasing me.

“Who are you?” Aster asked, astonished. She readied her wand.

Haven’t you heard of me? I am The Entity :green_circle:.

“No, I haven’t heard of you. But surely you can’t be easier to beat than the Puppet Master.”

Oh, you poor little wizard. I am NOTHING like the Puppet Master!

Aster was taken aback by The Entity :green_circle:'s tone. She grabbed her wand and cast :astral: Starbit. Surprisingly, the spell bounced right off of The Entity :green_circle:, dealing a measly 5 damage.

You thought your measly :astral: Starbit could defeat me, did you? Well, you’ve made a mistake, and now you will pay.
You’re no match against my :shadow: Twilight spell!

The Entity :green_circle: cast the spell at Aster, and she winced in pain, having taken 724 damage, leaving her with only 398 health. She decided to try and cast a different spell this time and see if :physical: Smash worked.
Unfortunately, the spell only did 8 damage - an increase, but still embarrassingly low.

You sad little wizard. I suppose I’ll keep you alive for now, since you can’t hurt me.

The Entity :green_circle: vanished, going to who-knows-where. Aster knew that if she wanted to have a chance at beating The Entity :green_circle:, she’d have to level up. Even though she was at Level 100 already, she knew a way she could get stronger. She opened up her map and set course for Firefly Forest. She knew Flora would help her - or at least, she hoped Flora would.

Chapter 2

“You want to do what?!” Flora exclaimed, surprised.

“I want to drink some Level Up potion to defeat The Entity :green_circle:,” Aster explained.

“But you’re at Level 100 already!” Flora countered.

“That’s not enough,” Aster replied. “I know that it’s a risk, but it’s a risk I need to take.”

“Okay, if you insist, but it won’t be cheap,” Flora accepted.

“How much will it cost?” Aster asked.

“20,000 gold,” Flora said. “These are very expensive to make.”

“20,000?!” Aster exclaimed. “Okay, I guess.” She opened her inventory and withdrew the gold. She gave it to Flora, who gave her the potion.

“Okay, here goes nothing!” Aster said enthusiastically. She drank the potion.

“Oh, you didn’t explode! Nice!” Flora said, surprised and happy.

“Let’s see if it worked, though.” Aster opened up her stats, and sure enough, she was at level 101 - something that shouldn’t’ve been possible.

“Can I… have more?” Aster asked. Level 101 was likely not enough to beat The Entity, so she needed more Level Up Potions.

“Okay, I guess, but it’ll still cost you 20,000 coins,” Flora responded.

“Alright then, I can afford… four more!” Flora sold her the potions, and she drank them, leveling up to level 105. Now, she was ready to defeat The Entity :green_circle:.

Chapter 3

“Do you know where The Entity :green_circle: might be?” Aster asked Flora.

“No, but he sounds like he loves trouble. Wait and see if he attacks anywhere,” Flora advised.

Sure enough, after a few minutes, Aster got a message from Bok.

“Bok needs wizard’s help! An Entity :green_circle: is attacking!”

After some thinking, she equipped her Crookfang and River Creator, and traveled down to Shiverchill.

Well hello, Aster. I see you are back.

“That’s right,” Aster replied confidently. “I’m back, and ready to put a stop to your evil plans!”

I wouldn’t be so sure about that if I were you. Remember what happened last time?

“That won’t happen again. I’m stronger than last time!” Aster retorted. “Crookfang, cast :water: Downportal!”

Crookfang did as she said, scoring a powerful critical hit for 143 damage! The Entity :green_circle: flinched in pain.

What?! How did you get so powerful?!?!

“That’s not necessary for you to know. All you need to know is that you’re dead! River Creator - use :water: Stream!”

River Creator created a waterfall above The Entity :green_circle:, dealing a whopping 214 damage! The Entity :green_circle:, defeated, started to fade out.

You may have defeated me, but this isn’t over! I will…

Before The Entity :green_circle: was able to finish the sentence, he was defeated. Aster smiled. The battle was over. The Entity :green_circle: was dead.

The End...?

Epilogue

Back into the Shadow Realm… How did Aster get that strong?
It is no matter though. I know something she doesn’t. I know her greatest weakness. And with that weakness, I can make her regret ever attacking me.

Great so far! I’m looking forward to seeing what goes on with the “Entity!”

Um. You know. I have an Entity as well.
Is this related to it in any way, or…?
Because, just asking. We can both use it, but make sure to stay true to its character.

Yeah, I was thinking this would be the same Entity.

OK! Cool! We can have lore then!
Sure, of course. Whatever you want.
Don’t forget the :green_circle: in its name!

I’d prefer this to just be something made by me. I’m alright with you making your own stories though.
