Potential Moderators and TL4s (Voting Complete, TL4s Picked)

As you know, I am the only active moderator on this forum (Hat doesn’t count because he hasn’t been active since late July). Because of this, I’d like to start the process of selecting candidates for possible TL4s and maybe new mods to moderate during the school day. I can’t say that they will be as lenient as me, though.

If you’d like to be a candidate, please reply to this post with:

• how long you’ve been on this forum (because I’m too lazy to check),
• past mod/leadership experience,
• and how active you are and if you’re active during school hours.

You can add more, but that’s all I’m looking for right now. Also, please do not post anything other than your application unless you have a genuinely important question that will benefit everyone.

Polls will be made to narrow the candidate pool. All votes will be anonymous because I know somebody won’t vote because they don’t want to start a fight (I’d know because I used to be that person).

• I’ve been on this forum since around June 2025 or so. Although I’m not an OG, I’ve still been around for a decent bit.
• Some moderator/leadership experience I currently have is moderating the Gimkit Wix and moderating the WG Forum (6000+ member forum).
• I’d consider myself pretty active on here, and I think I’m on here for like 2 hours a day, although I’m not sure 100%

I have been a member of this community since its earliest days, having created my initial account in January 2025 soon after the creation of Prodigy Forums, and replacing it with my current account the following month. Since then, I have maintained near-daily activity throughout 2025 and have continued that consistency through the majority of 2026. At present, I hold the third-highest number of days visited on the forum despite not being active for the past summer, surpassed only by eiqy (@gnihtemos) and Lego (@LegoProdigyD). I have a deep understanding of the majority of this community’s members and also how this place works.

My experience in community moderation encompasses multiple platforms. Gimkit-wise, I achieved TL3 status on three separate occasions on the official Gimkit forums.
Additionally, I served as moderator/admin in FersionForums, Cellochat Discourse/Discord, KaiForums, and their derivatives.
Prior to Gimkit related platforms, I am the staff of several Discord servers such as Danganronpa Remembrance/PHHD and Rolling Sky Difficulty (~2,000 and ~5,000 members, respectively). I have developed skills regarding Discourse platforms, abilities in deescalating dramas, impartial enforcement, and collaborative decision-making with other staff members. I see moderation as a responsibility to the community rather than a position of authority and fame.

I am very easygoing and goofy at normal times, valuing genuine value on diverse perspectives and emotional responses in community discussions. Despite some minor difficulties in English, I remain an active and engaged participant in conversations across a broad range of topics. I am committed to supporting others through both emotional difficulties and academic challenges (STEM, social studies, music, art, etc.) whenever I am present, approaching each interaction with patience and a willingness to understand.

I am currently a sophomore at a competitive high school. While my schedule demands focus, I will continue to visit the forum once every one to two days if I complete my work efficiently, and can be active for roughly ten to twenty minutes per day. Outside of moderating, I really enjoy interacting with friends and new members, discussing topics I am interested in, and occasionally sharing my artwork.

I have been on this forum since January 27, 2025 (591 days ago)

I was a moderator in February-March 2025, but got demoted due to closing a topic I thought people posting in it needed to reflect upon their words, because it was getting heated. I was a TL4 for a bit after that (April 2025?) until I was demoted due to some criticism on my behalf following a major argument with @ker, but since he is decently inactive, that guareenteed won’t be a problem anymore.

application submissions will close on monday september 14th at 12:00 am est

any submissions after that day will not be counted and will be deleted

voting will begin on september 14th and will last probably for a day. if the top 2 is really close between more than 2 people, there will be a follow-up poll/polls with those people

the top 2 will be tl4s for a while. if they are deemed fit by the people, they will become mods. if someone leaves or is determined to be unfit, that person will be replaced
