Dragon Isle sucks— essfully makes the game better

why i personally believe dragon isle is bad:

  • compared to harmony island, there is a lot less effort put in
    • harmony island had multiple areas dedicated to it (e.g. the rune runs compared to the rift runs and the harmony island arena)
    • new, unique spells were added as well
  • the relic spells suck
    • galaxy wyrm’s relic: just use the flash relic (also has an aoe spell but with a higher power), which is much easier to get\
    • might wyrm’s relic: 1.5 power :skull:
    • force drake’s relic: ok i can’t really talk that badly on this one but then again, it’s either just me or rng during lucky loots after the dragon battle SUCKS
    • gloom drake’s relic: also 1.5 power + you are cooked against wizards
    • night wyrm’s relic: 4.5 power??? oh wait
 you’re cooked against wizards
    • fire, earth, water, and storm dragon relics: weak multi-hit spells
    • combined with bad rng, you’re basically grinding your butt off for something you could just get and/or something better with a wand

Honestly, I wasn’t here for harmony island. I was kind of absent for a while after the island dedicated to all of those legendary monsters. But I agree with your reasoning eiqy_in_e-flat_major .

  • reflect physical
  • phoenix
  • more hearts

debatably hardest dragon to defeat: physical[1]
debatably easiest dragon to defeat: shadow[2]

  1. i say this because physical is quite powerful, especially against your wizard, so you need healing spells. also, for the attacks, you’ll want astral because it’s strong against physical, but if you use astral pets, you just gotta hope you, themselves, or another pet can heal them. even if you do use astral spells, however, there is a chance that the spell only deals 1 damage ↩

  2. wizards naturally have astral spells, and just getting some astral pets will do the trick. plus, the two debuffs against shadow spells are redundant so there’s only one thing to really worry about (not using shadow spells or pets) ↩

Because the login rewards only give you level 1 pets, so you have to pay gold to level them up

The new portal made dragon isle interesting again. Too bad I already beat the rifts
back to grinding the normal portal again
I’m on rift 19 but I only got like 3 dragon rewards
all from the Astral Dragon

Every other time I’ve done the dragon battle, It would let me use all my pets.

It’s because when you use a pet in dragon isle you can’t use it again
