The ULTIMATE Guide to Stars! [An Overview on how to Farm, Grind, and Maximize Stars]

Hey guys! Stars are a HUGE part of Prodigy!
Underleveled pets are a giant headache, and I am to solve that! (Use Asprin)

What Are Stars?

Q: What are stars?

Well, Stars (:star:) are a crucial part of the Prodigy experience. Stars are the EXP system of the game. You get stars after battle, which are given to you, and your two pets that participated in battle
After a certain amount of stars, your pet levels up! Leveling up gives you a boost, whether it is more :crossed_swords: Damage, faster :bullettrain_side: Speed stronger :shield: Defense or just more  Health, they are definitely helpful in taking down bigger opponents!

Q How do I earn them?

You can earn stars by battling enemies. The stronger the enemy, the more stars you get. For example, beating the Puppet Master gives you :star: 1000 Stars while normal battles range from 11-33!

:memo: Note that stars are only given if you win the battle. So Lock in! Try your best so you don’t get cooked, honestly.

Best Places to Grind for Stars

Personally, I think that the Wizard Dash :checkered_flag:
is a great choice.
:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Competing in a race is not only fun, but it is non-repetitive (ok, maybe it is)…
and extremely rewarding. You fight 8 battles in rapid succession, and are rewarded on average 130+ stars, with PLENTY of coins. Now, if you do the math, yes, normal grinding is a lot better, but come on, competition? Time to flex those Member Exclusive Mythical Epics you have lying around!

If you think that normal grinding is the way to go, I have a couple tips:

  1. If you are grinding a area, choose pets that work to your advantage. Grinding :fire: Bonfire Spire? Choose :droplet: Water pets. Grinding Shipwreck shore? Get those :storm: Storm types out.
  2. Do NOT grind :storm: Skywatch. You may think it is going to be storm types right? So of course you take out :plant: Grass/Earth/Dirt(y)/Good 'ol Mama Nature/Plant Then, your first battle will be against freaking Level 85+ :ice-element: Ice Types. I had more success using LEVEL 20 :fire: FIRE PETS than my level 90 Applepot. I am tragically dismayed disappointed in Skywatch.
  3. Use Multi-Hit-AOE high damage spells, so you can simultaneously knock out everyone without spending too much time. Using single target spells take too much time, using Multi-Hit multiplies the Element Advantage (look at the Multi-Hit Spell Guide for more info)
  1. Stay locked in. Don’t quit midway. Otherwise you will lose your streak, start failing, and the accuracy gods will start being mean. (TRUST. IT HAPPENS AND WILL HAPPEN.)
