So like in prodigy after I beat the puppet master I thought I basically beat the ender dragon in Minecraft and beat the game but of course nooo prodigy added the dang dragon portal thing and of course I tried to beat it. I got to the last portal and let me tell you this, the last portal is literally impossible. So like you needed really good pets to make it through the fights as you needed 6 different pets and I couldn’t change 3 of the pets levels since I needed to evolve them. So like I thought I was being big brain when I released all my pets and had only 2 of my best left and I thought I could reuse them but nooo after I beat the monsters in the first round I couldn’t use any pets at all and had to try to beat round 2 with no pets.

exactly, it’s so annoying and plus, you can’t merge pets unless they’re evolved
i understood why people would do that back when non-members could only have 10 pets (and the only way you could bypass it was through completing towers and teacher/parent goal rewards) but releasing all your pets is redundant now ngl. like the non-member pet restriction is gone (one of prodigy’s most w updates) [1]
oof. if you had worse luck, you would’ve gotten gearless next (removes all your wizard’s gear)
but the flip-side is that you’re a non-member (if you’re a member then this doesn’t apply to you). you can’t get magicoins easily, so you can’t evolve your pets easily, nor can you purchase or rescue pets easily. so prodigy’s update is like a yin yang ↩︎
