Ok, I looked up Mira’s backstory, and this is NOT IT. Look it up.
Hower, I had the inclination to make up my own backstory for her…. This goes along with my cool assumption that Mira was the…
(Just look on the topic “Wouldn’t this be so cool?”)
Anyways…
“Grim Burst!” Mira, the Shadow Warden, shouted, pointing her wand to the sky. Her students all shot spells out their wands, and purple slashes filled the air.
Mira stared around the room critically. “Good, but…” she flicked her wand, bracelets on her wrist jingling. “Stronger. More power. You want to defeat your enemies, not scare them.”
Gale, who had been inspecting the class, ahemed. “No, we don’t have enemies.” He shot a warning glance at Mira. “None.”
Mira clicked her tongue nonchalantly. “Exactly. But we should always be prepared…”
Gale furrowed his brows. “Mira, we have no dangers. Our students deserve to live in peace, not fear.”
Mira cast a cold glance in his direction, and turned back to her students. “Okay, Dark Globe.”
Mira’s students gasped. Dark Globe was known to be a tricky spell to conjure. But Mira just ordered her students to practice until they got it right.
Mira sidled over to Gale, who had been beckoning to her.
“Mira…” he muttered.
Mira tsked. “Oh, please. They’re not babies.” Her face hardened, turned serious. “They deserve to know what’s happening.”
“Nothing’s happening! The Academy is safe!” Gale burst out.
Mira looked at him with a you’re-an-idiot-if-you-think-that face. Gale gave in, and his tone suggested he had been lying anyways.
“Mira, you’re a little brutal sometimes… do you have anything to say?” His tone was gentle, but there was an undercurrent of… fear.
Mira stared. Gale was treating her like a mischievous student. “I don’t have anything to hide.” Then she realized what Gale might be talking about. “You don’t think…. I’m in kahoots with the Puppet Master?”
Gale shook his head with an apologetic look. “I”m sorry, Mira, but it makes sense….”
Mira gasped. Turned.
“Class dismissed!” She called, ten minutes before she was supposed to.
Her students filed out of the door. Mira followed.
I need to save myself.
Mira kicked her legs against her bed in her room at the Academy, thinking. how could she prove to everyone that she wasn’t evil?
By the end of the day, she still hadn’t figured it out.
Not done yet, but keep checking! I probably won’t be done for a while because I’m currently working on the War of the Regions, so sorry abt that!
