I’ve seen some noteworthy behavior going on recently, so I’m making this post as a reminder of the rules and to clarify some things.
If a topic hasn’t gotten any activity for six months, I’d recommend not replying to that topic. If a topic hasn’t been replied to for nine months or more, don’t reply.
On the topic of posting, please don’t split your replies across multiple posts. You can quote other posts in your post and respond to those in just one post:
For example, these posts shown below should be merged:
This is to reduce clutter on the forum.
What’s also supposed to reduce clutter is the reaction button. If your post can be summed up with a like or any of the other available reactions, don’t post it and leave a reaction instead.
Recently, someone has been flagging things related to gay people. Here, talking about most things gay-related (and LGBTQ-related things in general) is not considered inappropriate (things like gay sex is considered inappropriate though), so please don’t flag people about that unless the post truly is appropriate.
On the topic of appropriate and inappropriate topics, there has been a lot of confusion from people flagging things as inappropriate that aren’t considered inappropriate here. This includes:
- LGBTQ-related topics and words ("gay, “trans,” “lesbian,” etc.)
- Light “curse” words (e.g. “crap”)
- Simple slightly rude words (such as “dum dum” and “stupid”)
- Small references to inappropriate topic (mainly “69”, not much else will be tolerated)
- 67 will never be tolerated and this will never change
Also, I know it’s hypocritical, but after seeing the behavior of underage users here, I’m going to start banning underage users if they can’t act civilized and don’t cause trouble.
