i saw a post from 2020 and it;s pretty good. an overall summary of the post is that prodigy’s storyline wasn’t very good, and that definitely applies nowadays. for example, where do the dragons from temu harmony island come in? we saved two tower keepers, now they’re locked back up??? and since when was pippet still on the island? and the puppet master is actually alive???

i feel like gold and the elemental currencies are being phased out in exchange for magicoin

if they’re going to do that, then at least make magicoin more avaliable for non-members or get a way to trade out currencies

Prodigy is no where close to what it was, and that’s out of our control, they took away epics (which I still have :fire: ) and added more memberships. They took away harmony island and crystal caverns. Now there’s member only loot and dragon isle, a RNG reward system that’s basically harmony island but no map. The only good thing is treasure track, fight me.

So yes it is not getting better, but maybe something will happen, you never know.

  1. Epics were available in login rewards and can be caught in some limited time rifts (also florafox is a possible ice wyrm pet)
  2. I miss the days that those existed
  3. At least there’s a shop for dragon isle now
  4. The treasure track has recently had reused art and trash rewards

Hopefully Prodigy can turn it around with Moonlight Festival and possibly a treasure track about it :crossed_fingers:

Another thing to keep in mind is that prodigy was fun because we had no other alternative when we were younger. Now that we’re older, we have much better options of games we can play, so it seemed magical and amazing, which it no longer has that glow.
