Introducing... Weekly Prodigy Fanart Challenges!

Hey folks,
If any of you remember from the digitalartforums.discourse.group, a recently deceased forum, there were weekly- or, er, almost weekly- art challenges where users could vote on the theme and media format and then make something according to the results of that poll.

It’s going to be a little different this time, but a variant of the same idea.

First off, voting will usually start on Saturday morning. The host, who will hopefully change each time, will make a topic with the choices and the poll will close on Sunday afternoon or mid evening. Then on Monday, submissions will open- you can message @submissions with your art.

You can also message @submissions with any questions you might have as well or to volunteer to be the host for the coming week.

Anyways, the theme will always be something Prodigy related, like drawing your own pet, or making your own location or boss, or so on. And the category is just the kind of media it will be, like pixel art, animation, realism, painting, etc. It can always be either real or digital art though.

I’m not going to do one for this week because I’m not hosting, maybe Kat or someone can, but I just wanted to let you all know that this is something in the works and will start probably around next week.

Let me know if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, etc. and I’ll try to respond before the next ice age.

Funny story about that.

That’s what I always thought as well. I mean, bi means two so it seems like it would be twice-weekly. But before making this announcement, I remembered hearing people say, “Oh, for example I get my paycheck bi-weekly as in every two weeks” so I hopped onto Reddit (as one does) to see if someone else had the same question.

Apparently, bi-weekly can mean either twice a week or every two weeks. I suppose you’re supposed to indicate that more intently.

Regardless, I meant bi-weekly as in every other week. Maybe bi-monthly makes more sense? I don’t know.
