From what I’ve heard, it’s in beta, and you need certain requirements to obtain the hard and insane mode betas, although I would recommend asking someone else since I don’t have the hard mode version either

cause it say you 30 pets and ten of them have to be level 90+;
I have 50 pets and 30 of them are level100

Unfortunately, only the Firefly Forest quest line is available for BETA currently.

Hard mode is released now to everyone, I think.
Or is it one of those beta releases or something?
I think it should be for everyone now.

It is everyone now. Also shiverchill mountains is now fully in hard mode

i got it and finished firefly but i havent started shiverchill

In the first month of the update, I already qualified to unlock Hard Mode. Although the requirements were checked off it took weeks until the mode itself got unlocked. So just a warning not to get your hopes high, don’t expect it to unlock almost immediately.
